L. Andrew "Andy" Dunham
Andy Dunham was born on June 20, 1977 in Yokosuka, Japan, where his father was stationed on active duty with the U.S. Army. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harding University in May 1999, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in May, 2005 from University of Houston Law Center, where he received the Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams and Martin Award for top honors in his Federal Income Taxation course.
Andy received his law license in November, 2005, and he is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas and all Texas state courts. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Young Lawyers Association, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and Houston Trial Lawyers Association. Andy is not certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. His practice is focused in civil litigation, business litigation, real estate, probate and estate planning.
Andy and his wife, Jennifer, are active members of the First Colony Church of Christ in Sugar Land, Texas. Andy and Jennifer are both involved in the young marrieds’ ministry at First Colony, and Andy is a regular teacher of Bible class for the singles and young marrieds classes.
In his free time, Andy enjoys reading, music, movies, and sports, particularly baseball. He is an avid supporter of the Astros, Rockets, and Texans, as well as the Arkansas Razorbacks.
